The integration to twitter and FB will be gentle.
The first step with twitter is utilizing their tweet button that will also encompass a large photo to go along with it.
Twitter outlines the necessary steps to making a custom tweet with content already pre-filled (but allows the user to change it) for the user to use for their tweet on their current progression in the storyline. Information about how to create custom tweets can be found in the developer api documents at https://dev.twitter.com/docs/tweet-button. Investigation into whether or not a custom application will need to be made for twitter is being conducted but at this point it is hypothesized that only the ability to tweet is necessary for the application.
For the FB posts it will utilize the same mechanics as the tweets. However, there are plans to make a page that allows the user to interact with the application from a FB page. An SSL certificate will need to be purchased if a page is found necessary… the same goes for further twitter api interactions.
Though for now the custom tweets and posts will be implemented for the application’s integration into those two social spheres.
