The simplicity of the website is so that it does not distract from the actual content. Also the decision to go with a simple design is to reflect the beginning stages of webdesign (keep it simple).<\/p>\n

Side Note – I do intend on working on the design so it isn’t too simplistic.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Topic\/Home Page<\/strong> – This page is the quick information of what the thesis is all about. The research paper will have its own page and will follow the same format of the outline and process pages.<\/p>\n

Research, Outline and Process Pages<\/strong> – These pages are simple in design but allow for an ample amount of date to be inserted in a clean manner. Sub-navigation is being considered for easy access to different areas on those pages.<\/p>\n

Prototypes and Portfolio Pages<\/strong> – These pages I would consider to be more like gallery pages with in depth information about each piece. Since the visual prototype of the thesis will have many prototypes it is beneficial to show the progression\/evolution of those prototypes. The portfolio page will give a quick paragraph of each project and provide a link to the page to which they are hosted.<\/p>\n
